  • Wagonaire deflectors

Last summer at S.B. International Meet, I saw several Wagonaires with rear wind deflectors. Are these very common? Does anyone have a pair for sale?[?][^]

I found a new old stock pair on Ebay that I got for $10. They seem to be on there pretty often. They're generic, so they'll fit. In fact, they probably fit the flat panels on the rear of a Wagonaire better than anything else from the era!

Most air deflectors are aftermarket, and who knows if they work to keep exhaust out of the open tailgate window, maybe the best you can do is always route station wagon tailpipes out the rear CORNERS diagonally and down like the all Wagons should be.

Wagon air deflectors, either top or side mount, are designed to help keep the rear window clear, not to keep exhaust from entering the wagon.

This started as question of air deflector availability. I guess I should have asked about Wagonaire exhaust pipes!??

I had these made up for me from stainless. Most you find are rusted and pitted, this requires real money to look presentable. Too have them made up just about killed $175.00. [img][/img]
They'll be on the wagon come spring.

                        Capt. Billy,

I guess he needs to find someone to make them out of stainless.

What are the dimensions of yours?
