  • Nothing boring from this CL harvest!

    $2K for a Hawk-in-the-Box in Detroit.
Guy says it's complete and includes rebuilt trans, V-8 engine and body in primer. Get yer cheese balls and ginger ale out (and maybe all the king's horses and men), and put her back together:

In Niles, MI (near Indy border), there's a '62 Daytona in nice shape, albeit with a Skybolt for $7K:

On home ground, there's a nice little '63 Lark that sports a nice two-tone interior for $4,800:

That is one heck of a DEAL on the '57 Silver Hawk Overdrive Car basket case!

Unfortunately, it would take at least Two Flatbed Loads to get it all, but WHAT a score!

Agreed. It's right by me. I wish I had the skills to put all those pieces together.

Clicking on The first Hawk picture caused an insistent pop up to demand I "install the newest Google Chrome."
Very un-Google like request. NO thanks.

The other pictures are riddled with offers of "free scans." Uh-oh.

I'm using firefox with the Ad-Block extension. No problem with it.

Heck, for that price you can buy it and develop the skills as you put it together. Probably one of the best starter projects I've seen. That's how most of us started. I'll bet the local Stude folks would be glad to help, I'm just a bit far or I'd volunteer a few days. Bob
