HELP! I have a 42 champion and it has a new nos fuel gauge and a new sending unit. I tested the fuel gauge outside the car and it works. Put it in the car and it doesn't work! I have it grounded very well but it doesn't work when installed in the car. Other old timers say gas gauges don't work half the time anyway. I don't believe that.
