    Please don't laugh. My girlfriend thinks she remembers seeing an amphibious Studebaker car? Could that be?

      Well the "Amphicar" amphibious Car did have Fins similar to Hawks, but no Studebakers except the WWII Studebaker built "Weasel" Troop Carriers were amphibious.

        Unless some ambitious soul did some massive customizing on a recognizable Studebaker; which is not out of the question but, unknown to us.
