    From the side view of that backlight opening, I thought it looked familiar but couldn't place it at first. But then it hit me, it's a C/K rear window standing on it's vertical surface and reversed left to right or a modified one! [:0] Looks like a well done custom.

            Good call on the window, Rich. I'd like to see the front also, Mark. I'll take some pictures.

            I seem to recall a yellow el Camino type C/K custom back in the day. I wonder if this is that one?

                    Replace the open bed with an elongated trunk and continental kit and this car is very close in appearance to my '53 Studebird.

                        I just saw a picture in one of my car mags that showed a custom car show in 58/59. In the background was a Stude custom pickup like this. I'll find the magazine and scan it (There was a Hawk in the shot too).
