NOS Shock Absorbers

I'm looking for NOS shock absorbers. Part numbers are 1558931 for rear shocks, and 1547459 for fronts. I asked SI, but no reply. Any thoughts on where to look?

They probably will have them, most likely at the South Bend location which sometimes takes extra time to get a reply. We still have some 63-66 rear shocks in stock if they cant help.

I personally have used some of these shocks myself with success. While my cars are not everyday drivers, they seem just fine to me. I have had a set on my hawk for over 20 years now and they still work fine. I understand the concern with age but while I have no proof I think the shocks of the period were better made than what we see today.

I just ordered a set of Gabriel 82087's. Apparently they're not the adjustable type or that's the jist I get. AutoZone $23.00 / per

They are the "Standard Classic Gas" Gabriel Shocks made in Mexico, that could be better than the alternative Country.
