  • Posting photos from Photobucket

I apologize in advance for being so dumb about this issue.
I have posted photos before and I followed the detailed instructions
but I haven't posted any photos recently. When I went to Photobucket today there was no URL Link.[?]
My only choices were Email and IM, Direct Link, HTML Code, and
    IMG code.[xx(]
Does one of these replace the URL Link or am I doing something
    wrong on Photobucket?
    Thanks for the help.

Use the IMG Code. However, after you paste it in, change "IMG" (at both the front and back of the code) to "img".

My Photobucket account has never had a "URL Link" option, but the "Direct Link" is the photo URL. Copy the Direct Link and paste it between the "img" thingies you get after you click on the "insert image" icon on a Forum posting block.

New pictures of that Hawk of yours, I hope []

Oh, one more thing...before you copy the "Direct Link" for the picture, resize it to 640 x 480 or so. Just click on the "Resize" icon above the picture and select "Message Board"

Thanks for posting Dick. I went to photo bucket and saw the sizes from now on I will resize before I post. Didn't look for options before and didn't know the correct Posting size for message boards. 640x480
