  • Rockne in another wedding

This is the second time this Rockne has participated in a wedding for friends. It almost didn't happen, as the night before, the 82-year-old coil and ignition switch decided to give up the ghost. My friend Russell Roan at Roan's Body Shop hustled on Saturday morning to patch in a coil and switch and the groom and best man arrived at the ceremony in the Rockne on schedule. The couple wanted shots at the spot where they first met, at a tailgate party in the parking area of a Penn State-Ohio State game. (You can see Mount Nittany in the background.) Then cruised around town on the route to the reception.
The photographer has promised some photos and I will submit them to SDC and ASC for possible publication.
