  • Northwest Zone Meet

I haven't seen a thread on the NW zone meet and was wondering if anyone from this part of the world is going over? We are thinking of trying to go over on Saturday. It is 400 miles each way in an untested car that seems to have only been driven a few times in the last 20 years. The weather should be good for a picnic along the freeway though.

My wife and I will be there. I understand there are about 200 registered participants. I am sure one of the officers from our division can give more exact numbers. It looks like it is going to be a great time, despite the expected showers. Most of us agree that the rain is needed so we don't mind. See you all in Kelso starting tomorrow.

Nope- no Can-Am Zone Meet for me this year. I have other priorities- like preparing to move my seven Studes and 1600 square feet of crap into my new toybox- again.

I hope those who go enjoy themselves.
I'll expect to start seeing photos tomorrow...

I don't get on this forum often enough. I will be there too. Red 73 Avanti, hard to miss! I just hope I don't find any leaks in this "light" rain they're forecasting!

I'm just a little over an hour north, in Olympia, so am planning on heading down Saturday. My hawk won't make it, unfortunately, so I'll be cruising in my '63 Dart. But I can't seem to find any info on what time Saturday's show is. I'm assuming it'll be most of the day, but it'd be nice to have a better idea.

No such info on there - unless I'm going internet-blind!

The meet registration booklet shows the "Car display and people's choice judging" from 10:00 to 2:00.

After some slight rain sprinkles mid-morning Saturday, the weather changed into being bright with occasional sun. We were very lucky since the forecast was a high chance of steady rain all day. All in all, it has been a great Zone Meet.
