    Cool beans, Joe. BP
We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

    Ayn Rand:
"You can avoid reality, but you cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding reality."

    G. K. Chesterton: This triangle of truisms, of father, mother, and child, cannot be destroyed; it can only destroy those civilizations which disregard it.

Good for Joe. Every time out teaches us something. Hope he makes the PSMCDRs in September.

'Looking forward to seeing you and your Lark in September, Joe. Good luck on the fuel situation. It sounds like many good suggestions have been made. The Plain Brown Wrapper is still using a stock, original fuel pump with the stronger spring. Fuel line is 3/8" from tank to the pump and original 5/16" from the pump to the carb with all fittings drilled out a few thousandths. I like to use a stock steel line for most of the run of the pressure line from blower to fuel pump, making sure that the fittings at the pump are not "metered" internally with a small opening. This has been enough to support mid-12s so far.
