  • The new GT is finally finished

We purchased this Hawk disassembled in July 2006, painted it in October and now a year later it is back together and lookin' pretty darn good if I do say so myself..BIG 'thank you' to Roly Lusted, V.P. of our Hamilton Chapter, who did all the hard stuff in his home garage over the last 12 months, and many others who helped us put the pieces back together.

                Stunning. Beautiful. Gorgeous. Etc.

Was that an early-production show car? What is the Serial Number?

(If it wasn't a show car in late 1963, it sure is now!) Congrats. BP
We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

Crap, spent 10 minutes trying to find a tiny flaw I could nit-pick, but it's correct right down to the often missed front muffler clamps. The only thing I could comment on is that you'll have to have "delete undercoating" added to the build sheet. OK, maybe I found one tiny thing, but hard to see in the pictures. Is the lower scoops rear section and latch brace painted simi gloss black like it should be ? darn, what a challenge to try and judge, gorgeous car.

                            radial tires :P

seriously, I'm jealous of that undercarriage shot. Really nice.
