  • New project. 1949 Champion Convertible.

50 years ago I was 16 years old. My Dad gave me a 48 Champion Convertible. I drove it for a couple of years and sold it.One of my biggest regrets.
Yesterday I bought myself a 49. I see long project ahead. 1/2 a century beween the two cars.

That's cool Neil! But we need more pictures.

Just remember, you have grandsons to help you get this car done......

Looks like a clean 49. Even cleaner when you think convert. Should be a easy, fast project.

Good for you! That's a nice looking car. It'll look even better with that big cowboy hat sticking out of the top of it!

It takes a LOT of talent to wear a cowboy hat in a convertible.

I remember when we'd take the '71 Eldorado convertible out when I was a kid. Never once lost the hat!

George and I dug out a really nice set of trunk hinges for you today.. I'll keep an eye out for any other parts. I'm excited about this one.
