  • Bill Cannon ASC founder passing

    Just received news from the ASC editor Rick Peterson that ASC founder Bill Cannon passed away yesterday April 22nd. Fine man. Very talented.

    Very sorry to hear about this! He co-authored The Studebaker Story with Fred K. Fox in 1981, and mainly covered the pre-war section of the book.

              Hi Guys,


              Update on Bill Cannon's passing.

              I just talked to his son Phil and he informed me that for any of the Studebaker "guys" that their will only be a small gathering of family and friends and any of the Studebaker members are welcome.

              Monrovia, CA 91016
              Saturday April 25, 2015
              From 1:00pm till 5:00 pm

                Sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Bill and Charlotte were the best. They are the reason the ASC exists today. Bill made a lot of reproduction parts for the old Studebakers as well as editing the ASC Review and Skinned Kunckles for many years.
