  • Costco Connection

Months ago, Costco invited members to submit pictures of their cars for the Costco Connection magazine. Well, that issue arrived today and while I found no Studebaker content in the print edition, there is a slide show in the online version.

I tried to watch the slide show but my computer froze up mid way, but not before revealing 4 Studebakers, one of which was mine. They did spell my last name wrong. You'd think I would be used to it after all these years but it still aggravates me.

Also included was Bruce Blum's 70 Avanti, Don Wilson's 63 Avanti, and John Shultz' 62 GT Hawk. Maybe someone on the Forum can view the whole thing to see if anybody else represented.

Cool, Jon. Only reason I'm aware of the magazine as someone dropped a copy off at my office. Must have huge circulation.

I never saw the invite! I was a little put off when we got our magazine. Oh well next time.

Finding the link is a bit of a chore. It is in the middle of the cover page and about the size of a postage stamp.

Very cool, Studebaker was well represented! Costco and frugal Studebaker owners seems like a good fit.

Received an e-mail from Tod Jones who did the story for Costco. He saw this post and apologized for misspelling my name. I thought that was a nice gesture. I was never upset with him for the error, just venting my frustration about a lifetime of similar mistakes.
