Since it's now been one month since the April issue of Turning Wheels was mailed, everyone should now have received their copies. If you have not received this issue please contact Mark Wheeler at Cornerstone for a replacement.
It has now been 11 months since we began documenting delivery records and we will run one more survey for the May issue. However we have sufficient data on hand to get a realistic feel for our delivery history. As a result, a documented recommendation will be emailed to the members of the SDC Board of Directors later today, requesting adjustments to our Turning Wheels deadlines, in an effort to try and ensure that all members receive their Turning Wheels by the first day of the issue month. For everyone's information, the USPS has recently closed a significant number of sorting depots in the U.S., thereby adding several days to the delivery process. North of the border, Canada Post is in the process of stopping home delivery, opting for large neighborhood boxes, again adding to delivery timing.
Members who continually receive their issues of Turning Wheels extremely late are urged to contact their respective Board Members requesting their diligence in trying to improve our delivery process. In the meantime, listed below is the results of the April issue survey.

Just got mine today' April 16th! The postman seems to save up a little mail before he arrives here too, like Paul Revelle's experience (but he's an affable guy! Well, sure - both Paul and the postman!).
It boggles the mind to contemplate how it gets around the world before it gets to my house, about half an hours pleasant drive from yours!!
