Bidding is already over $51.00 on that one lens, which is a right-side lens, and my left is the one in the worse shape. Until I get some Christmas cash, I can't guarantee I'll have what this one winds up going for..

Right and left lenses are the same. There's no "left" or "right" to them.

Yeah, what Biggs said. He beat me to the punch!

What the seller was trying to say is that since this was a used lens from the RIGHT side the damage to the chrome was mostly on the upside, so it actually would have worked fine flipped on the left!

Well anyway now you know, but if too much$ is TOO MUCH, then it's not an issue! [^]

I had a lot of those '61 lenses. I used to include a spare pair with every '61 that I sold. Most of what I had left, about ten, went with my parts stock that I sold to Bill C. years ago. I keep thinking that I should spend some time and dig into my stuff to see if I have any left.

Bidding is up to $80.00, for this one lens, as of 9:10 pm EST. That's as high as I can go for one lens. There are four days left of bidding, so it will be interesting, I guess, to see just how high this thing will eventually get.
