Yet another atta-boy, this one to Richard Quinn for his window sticker service. I had him make one for my 64 GT, a must have item for a show car.

What'll ya give me for the '57 Transtar I'd be tradin'???[:I]

    Miscreant adrift in
    the BerStuda Triangle

    1957 Transtar 1/2ton
    1960 Larkvertible V8
    1958 Provincial wagon
    1953 Commander coupe

No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

"widow sticker" must be a halloween joke [)]

interesting about the R2 @ $410...I calculated the percentage of base price and that is about 14%. On a $30K car today, that would be $4200 - not out of line for a performance engine.

my point is while it looks cheap in today's dollars, it isn't (or wasn't) really.

I have the original one from Pomona Imports for my '62 GT. The fellow traded in a '58 Lincoln, paid a little down and had three years of payments of around $55 each.

Inculding an SS409 Impala or a 327 Corvette.

                    GT Hawks were expensive.

Cool, I'll keep my eye out for one to match the car. Maybe your car was the trade in for my GT.
