Link doesn't work and my phone is not letting me copy and paste. The rear of the car looks awkward with the fenders protruding aft of the body.

As I have posted before, there is a local company, with two local funeral homes, that has a 1929 Studebaker hearse that they still use when requested.

Are you able to take some photos of it and post them here?

I'm wondering why they made those big rear windows roll-down?

I don't think the passengers minded the heat. I'm sure it's from the coachbuilder, but LOVE the hood ornament. That body style just lends itself to the long lines of the hearse body, imo. I'd LOVE to have this ride fixed up.

I just noticed the flip out windshield. Roll those side windows down and flip out the windshield and drive 'til the smell dies down!

There was one similar in Huntsville for sale a couple of years ago. It was mainly a body and frame, very rusty and needed everything. Sold for $1100. Click image for larger version

                    Leo,
I'm sure you'll find that hood ornament to be original Studebaker for '35.

Looks eerily similar to a Packard-Henley hearse I saw 25-30 years ago. Even the hood ornament looks similar to my '57 Packard Clipper ornament.
