How do I remove the bottom back seat in my 1962 GT Hawk?

    Thank you,

There are 2 brackets that hold the rear seat bottom located half way between the driveshaft tunnel & 1/4. In that area, right at the bottom you'll feel the seat frame, hit it towards the rear of the car with the palm of one hand while lifting the seat bottom with the other. Repeat on the other side & lift out. I have had ones that fight me & others that allowed just to push back. If your upholstery is in good shape take your time. The vinyl is old.

My 50 works that way but the seat is so tight I thought maybe it was bolted in. Now, I will apply more pressure. Thanks to both who responded.
