Those Reedsville regulars who used to dine at Jack's Mountain Brew Pub may be pleased to hear that the restaurant has finally re-opened. It is now "Cowboy Jack's Brew Pub and Restaurant". The menu is a bit more limited than it used to be, but the fare and the prices are about the same. We ate there tonight, and the food was good. For those unfamiliar with Jack's, it is on Rt. 22/522, west of Lewistown.

Sounds good! I just found out that I'll be able to get coverage at work, so I'll be there Friday Morning till ??[8D] I'll be camping, which I occasionally enjoy[^]

Question: Is there a big truck stop within a reasonable distance that has showers? I'll have TV, internet, and a good bed; but no washing facilities[xx(]

If not, I can always go with the water jug off the top of the van in the parking lot... shouldn't be too cold or indecent, right...?

That would be the J.P. Edwards restaurant on old Rt. 322 in Burnham. Don't forget the fried pickle appetizer.

There is a new large truck stop at the Milroy exit of Rt. 322, about 2 miles north of Reedsville. I don't know for sure, but I would suspect that they have showers.

What do you all do on Fri. and Sat. nights during the meet?

One of the organizers of the meet, Max Corkins, has a restoration shop in downtown Lewistown. Max usually has an open house one or both nights, with his band playing while visitors enjoy liquid refreshment. His shop is really something to see, although many feel that it has lost some of its charm since he fixed the roof. Maps with directions to his shop are available at the meet.
