  • New Website for Central Florida Chapter

Just finished for the most part the Central Florida Chapter's website. I still have a few coming soon pages to finish but for the most part it is done. Feel free to visit the site at it's tempority location [u]www.laketarpon.com</u> until a decision is maded on the sites domain name. Lake Tarpon is a domain that I owned and was planning on using for personal use but I glad we now have a website to use. Any commits is appreciated but be nice! &lt;G&gt;[]

Rick, that really is awesome, how you arranged it, and have that imaginary stretch of road highligting a different Studebaker on each part of the site.

The only thing I see that could make it better is in the logo/name area. Go ahead and make the logo bigger, so its text is easy to see. And turn the name "Central Florida Chapter"/ "Florida's Oldest Chapter" into a gif image. With it as a font, like you have it currently, you are having to depend on users to have their browser's View/Text setting all the way on "Largest" to make all your text readable. And, you are depending on the user to have the correct fonts on their system to render that text the way you intend it. So, make a graphic of that text, and enlarge the logo, and that's all I see needed to make yours an enviable and awesome chapter website. Great job!

                Rick,
Looking good! Uncluttered and clean design. Like your choice of easy to read fonts.

Only suggestion is, perhaps raise and widen your text box, or move the cars farther back in the oncoming lane so that the top of the car image is not cut off by the bottom of the box.

Thanks for all the comments both on and off the forum! I have corrected some of them and will be addressing the others. Already working on the unfinished pages and they should be done this week sometime.

One note, we are having trouble the our provider with the site email address so please just use this forum to email me until we correct the problem.

                        Thanks again!
