  • Bent/Kinked TWs again !

Oh Dear, the unfortunates running around that can not think for themselves ! I'm likely the only one,but would like too see the " DO NOT BEND " warning changed to something more suited for these people that need guidance. " DO NOT BEND/FOLD/KINK THE BINDING " or maybe some one has a more direct way of wording it ?

Report your problem to your post master. I receive my mail in a community mail box however my TW is placed in a box by itself. With the exception of when my mail person is on vacation I never receive my TW bent, folded or mutilated.

I doubt that your mail person is illiterate, perhaps you could inquire. (smiley face).

    Good luck.

My experience, far beyond just that of TW, big mailbox and getting to know (and help as needed) your local carrier(s).

I was a carrier for nearly 30 years. There is absolutely no excuse for damaging a customer's mail. Joe, you need to talk to the postmaster and find out the name of his boss. Then call that guy and complain, loudly.

It has been a long long time since my Turning Wheels was damaged. I was worried today because it was wrapped around the other mail in a different manner than usual. Alas no problem.

Even though our mail is delivered to our curb-side mailbox each day, my carrier always brings my TW directly to my front door. He's been our carrier for many years and has been terrific. I never get a TW that's been damaged in any way.
