    Pat, posession of the vehicle was taken im id-year. The first Virginia tital was issued in June of 1961.

    Probably a case of the vehicle getting registered so early that it was considered the model year it was registered in.

    Don - looks like you are so close to 1961, it might be thought of as being one. According to Turning Wheels, however, your truck is the third 7E5 produced for the 1962 model year, the first being 132,601.     Here's another late 61 with SpaceSide Box, WB of 112.

    6E5-132603

    6 cyl, Overhead Valve Engine with 3 spd on Column

    Options include Trim Package with Chrome Grill and Sliding rear window, rear bumper and Climatizer.
