  • Little Buddy's 50 Champion (registered as a '51) Pictures!

The 4dr bullet nose was at the cruise in and I took some pics. It's still 6V (marine battery and no hold down), but it's converted to negative ground. I gave him my July 14 TW, with the gorgeous 51 convert on the cover, and showed him an S.I. catalogue. He's going to tear it down and paint it over the winter, but he's driving it and enjoying it.Click image for larger version

Those sure are some beefy plug wires on that little Champion engine.

I noticed the plug wires shields, too. Funky. It reminds me of a car some young person just had to fix up and get on the road. The paint looks like house paint, but it's all one colour. The accents were brushed on in the interior, the chrome was painted...but it stops and goes and he's happy as a Lark (lol).

I'd drive it after trowing away the wheelcovers & removing the bumpers, I'd rather have it custom-look'n than Cuba-look'n!

LOL. Well, it's Canadian built and we never were part of the embargo. Gotta admire the Cubans.
