  • For my 61 lark.

Does anybody out there have a correct 61 Lark a/c evaporator for sale? (ie under dash deal) Thanks

Still no luck? Didn't someone reply that they had just the '61 evaporator but not the corresponding plenums, ductwork, etc.? I think he was on the fence about selling it. It took me a long time to find one for my '61 Cruiser which came from the factory so equipped but someone had removed it along the line. I eventually found one on ebay but I haven't seen one since. I wonder if you found a complete assembly for a 1962 if it could be made to fit? Too bad Studebaker had to change it after only one year! Good luck with your search!

Any pictures of one from a 61? I figured they were the same as the 62-64, I have an older one in the shop but not sure if it is what you are looking for.

Bob, the 61 unit is a bear all it's own. Check out page 25 of the 59-64 Body Parts Catalog.
        David, check your PM's.

          It is a one-year-only thing. http://forum.studebakerdriversclub.c...961+EVAPORATOR
