  • Looking for complete Turner Disc Brake kit

So I thought that I would ask here. Anyone have a Turner Disc Brake kit that you bought that is sitting on your shelf. That is never gonna be put to use in your lifetime for sale. Just thought that I would check here first ya never know.
    Thank you

I would think people buy them and immediately install them...not just set it aside for the future. Just give Jim Turner a call...Jon Myer carries the kits as well.

About 4 months ago someone had one that sat on the self for 10 years so I thought that I would try. Hey maybe it was cheaper back then.

I was that "someone". I'd had a set that I let a friend use on a car he was building. I had bought the set a year earlier for a project of mine that I hadn't gotten around to. His car was IN progress so I lent him my kit on the promise he'd replace it. It took a couple of years for that replacement to occur, but I wasn't needing it. When he did finally replace the kit, I no longer had the car I'd intended it for (that 63 Daytona hardtop that Dick S. put together and sold). So, I still have the kit and I still have several Stude projects that it COULD find it's way onto. We'll see.
No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

Oh Bob I wasn't referring to you. I know about yours we bought one from the guy I got the Coupe Express from. David installed it on the GoldenHawk. It got me to thinking that just maybe someone else had one laying around too. AShley's Lark needs disc she is used to driving new cars with different stopping power. It was so easy David said that next time thats the way he wants to build it.
