John?JDP - Is that car still with the family of the original owner? That may be the car that I wrote about where I was in a Studebaker dealership on Long Island in late'61-'62 and the salesman was trying to get the guy to trade his Packard Hawk in on a Gran Turismo Hawk. The guy had no intention of parting with his PH.

Richard, if you read this, what light can you shed on 58L-K9 #409 ? I have that body tag and the car still exists (I think) although it's hacked into 3 sections.

                            Mr. Biggs,
Packard Hawk body # 409 is in pieces. This was 58LS1402 and was originally an all parchment white car. I think I have a picture somewhere of whats left of the body. It's sitting on a dumpster and all that is there is the body itself. No fenders, no interior, no engine.
