  • Excellent Historic Video about John M Studebaker

After I posted the video about the wheelbarrow races on UTube I came across this excellent show about John M Studebaker and his relationship to Old Hangtown aka Placerville. It's worth a look and also has a great Studebaker song

In watching again, in the clip of the 1953 John M Studebaker race I caught a glimpse of a new '53 Studebaker at approximately 19:45 in the video. It appeared to be a C or K, but the glimpse was so brief that I couldn't tell.
I re-ran the video for my wife to see and she enjoyed it too- fond memories of the Studebaker races we saw way back then.
