      did they go on water too?
      "amphibious", that's the word...

        The amphibious model was the M29-C. The vehicle to the far right in the photo is an example. They had an additional flotation component in the front and rear too keep its head above water. The side-skirt was necessary to direct water with the tracks rotating to propel it through the water.

          If you have signed up for the tour of the Weasel "factory" in Dover, you may get to see a picture of a Weasel without the floatation devises in the water and floating beautifully. The picture was taken after WWII of some folks using it as a hunting vehicle. I still think if I were to take one into the water I would want the floats.
