Thanks for posting the pix Jack. Looks like a good time was had by all. I had hoped to go, but did not get home from work till almost 6 PM. I was still trying to garner the energy to go, but looked at the Saturday weather forecast in Knoxville, and it said high 62 and rain.

Glad y'all had a good time.

OK. I'm new here. Who is this Vana You speak of?
the wife and I drove over from Pigeon Forge on Saturday.
Spoke to a few people. Great folks as I expected.
I spoke to the older fella in the Jazzy at the Nashville weather seal place
(Sorry I don't remember names yet)
but he seemed to really know his Studies.
I picked up a flyer for the October meet in Nashville.
BTW. I was the guy that came in with the dark purple 55 Handyman wagon.
The wife and I had a good time checking out the cars and trucks, bus, Jeep...
I'll post a few of my pics later tonight.

I agree with Jr. The 55 coupe engine was nicely done. Thanks for the pics.

Vana is the Red Avanti Convertible that graced the field in Townsend. This is the actual car that was given away on the "Wheel of Fortune: game show by Van Whit hence the name. It was given away on the late 80's

Our whole family had a great time, including the three-year old. The grandson sold three diecast models and bought four.
