bonniewwyn- Thanks for the lead; I'll call tomorrow!

    Avantidon- E-mail sent.

N8N- That's an idea- but I like the idea of the GT because I already have everything for it!

      Frankenstein?
      Hawk/Lark accident?
Have you been to Florida and seen Bob Oakes car?

(Before you laugh... He 'saved' two wrecks and has more miles on this than 99.5% of all Studebakers on the road today..)

Seeing that I have a complete 4spd. Daytona as a donor car coming for my Frankenstein project, I'm looking at the GT here.

I call mine Frankenstein because it's being built from at least 3 different cars; but when it's done you'll never know- it'll still look like a 62 Daytona...

          That one sure tops mine...[:0]

Bob/BAMS - That Hark was built by Bob Oakes (correct spelling of owner's name) right up near you in northern New York State. I saw it plenty when he still lived in NY. I have seen it only a couple of times since he retired to Florida, like at a Florida State Meet. The front fenders had the typical NY rust stripe. He cut that section off to shorten the fenders up.

It'd be interesting to see it in person.
