1954 should be 6 volt, unless you have changed to 12 volts or a later engine.

The dash in your picture is a 1955.

Any V8 automatic starter used on 1951 through 1955 Studebakers should work. And by the way, that dash and instrument cluster is 1955 - not 1954.
No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

            ECORRA -

What Frank said, the dashboard pictures in your post are of a 1955 dash, not 54 (or 53, which is very close to the 54).

I believe the entire car may be a 55 model. They started producing them in late 54? It would still be 6 volt if original.

A 16G8-K5 is a 1955 Commander 2 Door Hardtop, which WAS a 6 Volt Positive Ground electrical system.

Two different cars in the last two pics. Both look like 55s. Ecorra may be a bit confused.

Interesting, the Red and Beige Interior Car has a '61 or '62 Steering Wheel and probably the whole column.

The Blue Interior Car has a beautiful Blue Dash, but BOTH are '55's! And neither look like they need anything, maybe they are just random sample Pics of what he needs from other's Cars.

                      Hello.
The Studebaker Museum has sent me a letter that the car was assembly on October 25 1954.
Do you have anyone starter Delco #1107116 and the gauges like in the pictures for sale for sale?
Here in Czech Republic is impossible to find it. Thank you for help.

Correct, but it is a 55 model and those are the parts you should seek. The starters and gauge clusters are available through SDC vendors and even on eBay...as long as you search for 1955 parts. good luck.
