  • Power Steering Ross type SL 57-64

Im adding power steering to a 61 hawk it currently has a the manual steering box 24:1 Ross SL.
I have the complex setup removed from a 1960 lark, Bendix, Eaton, SL Ross 20:1
Will the Lark Ross SL 20:1 power steering box parts interchange into the hawks Ross SL 24:1.
The boxes are cast with different frame mounting locations and the steering post is shorter on the lark.

No the lark box won't easily interchange. The hawk used the same steering gear with and without pwr steering.

Use a Saginaw box from a post 61 Lark. With an adapter plate as described in Bob Johnstones' site. It will be so nice you won't need power steering!
