  • Need Help with Part Numbers Applications...

Can anyone tell me the specific applications for the following STudebaker parts numbers. I find them in my factory price books, but not in any of the parts books?? They are:
[u]#473092</u> Intermediate or rear exhaust pipe
    [u]#536260</u> " " " "
    [u]#536437</u> Tail or outlet pipe
Any help is appreciated. I get frustrated when I cannot determine parts applications. Thanks.

The first two are easy. A '4' series part number is usually a Packard number, so I looked there. 473092 is the left intermediate pipe for a dual exhaust '55 Clipper Custom.
I remember 536260 well! We cataloged that one just the other day. I found it in an old N/A catalog (I never throw anything away) It supercedes 535221 '54 Stude W-F-D. I think now that I said this was the same as 536490. It is not!
536437? Are you sure? Could it be 536432?

Thanks again Dwain. I suppose #536437 could be #536432, just mislabeled. The length of 536432 according the parts book should be [u]58 7/32"</u> and the tailpipe I have here as 536437 measures [u]59 3/8"</u>. Not the end of the world, but it'd be nice to know what it fits. 536437 doesn't happen to show up in any of your price books like 536260 did??
