Well you're in Calif. and I'm all the way over here in NJ but I strongly recommend (and others will too) Dave Thibeault in Mass. He has an ad in TW every month in the card file, page 65 this month...February.

His number is 978 897 3158. Check him out through the Advanced Search or watch here. He's a stand up guy who backs what he does 100%.

I just put his name in the Advanced Search. About 300 hits. You'll see why we like him over here in the original colonies.

Try Bud on this forum, he's in Hawthorne ca. outside of LA. Has a Sun Distributor machine in his garage, and knows how to use it properly.

Bud has rebuilt two R-Series distributors for me. It was after I installed the rebuilt distributor that my Hawk started to perform. I highly recommend his services. He is located in Hawthorne California

Talk to Jeff at Advanced Distributors
He just finished my '57 Hawk Delco.
He reworked the advance curve to work better with the modern fuels.
Also he rebuilt the original tach sending unit.
It now has a strong signal to the plug.
He has a few of the Sun Distributor machines.
