My kit has a "61 part number on it. It will fit "60 as well and the label (from SASCO ?) says that it may fit other years. What mods, if any, would be necessary, I don't know. If interested I can take pix and try to figure out how to post them.

If you can't figure out how to post them, send them to me by email and I will post them. I would really like to see what a real kit looks like.

I would imagine, if the quarter windows mount in the normal manner, that it would be possible to cut panels out of aluminum/whatever in the same shape as the glass and do it that way.

I will assume that the kit that you have is for a 1958 and not for a Lark because you mention that it has "metal panels and weather stripping." The Larks used Masonite panels and no addditional weatherstripping.

It looks like the panel on that Scotsman is just on one side.

Ahh, but it's got '59 Lark hub caps!

That is really sharp looking, I never thought I would say that about a stripped down, Scotsman! I guess that's why I like it, it's all dressed up with chrome: hood moulding, Hd. Lt. Rims, dress-up kit side mlds. ,tail light rims etc. and a non-Scotsman color! [^]
