Very nice! Where in Georgia did you find it? I always did like the reserved styling of the '56's.

                  Agreeing with the rest!!!

& wondering 'bout two (2) neat exhaust outlets on a in-line six...?

As nice as the flashy cars are, these basic low-end sedans have their own type of beauty. It was built as simple transportation but they were just good looking cars.

My Uncle was in the military in Korea the first time he saw a '56 Studebaker in a magazine ad - he said it was about the most beautiful thing he had ever seen (and then he would admit that while there he did get pretty homesick...)

My son-in-law has a 2dr version of that car. One of these days,I'm gonna crawl under it and check that exhaust system out.

That has to be one of cleanest, most original condition '56 Champions we have seen in a LONG time! Very nice.

That Excellent Condition '56 Steering Wheel is something you rarely ever find.
I am guessing that it has no Overdrive? That would be about all it needs to be the perfect driver, after a Safety Check.

Yep, it's about a 4 Inch Tailpipe with a special Chrome Tip, on Champions and Single Exhaust Commanders and Presidents! But it looks WAY Cool.
