The Stude is surely much narrower than the '59 Chevy ElCamino that donated the bed area. The taillights must have been kissing each other when the bed was narrowed to fit!

I wonder if "Star Custom Shop" had anything to do with Daryl Starbird (sp?). I think he was from around that area a long time ago (in the 50's).

I see a sign that says Star Custom Shop. Looks like it was for a car show. I suspect that one was built a long time ago.

Very unique vehicle. In reading the link I was shocked that it got "cut up." The El Camino rear section took lots of work and imagination.
