It is a nice looking GT Hawk, but nothing I see in the under hood picture makes me think it has an R3 motor. Is there a description of the car to go with the pictures?

If it is an R3, it's the first one I've seen with a pre-mid-1962 center-fill oil pipe! BP
We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

      Ayn Rand:
"You can avoid reality, but you cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding reality."

      G. K. Chesterton: This triangle of truisms, of father, mother, and child, cannot be destroyed; it can only destroy those civilizations which disregard it.

Again, it's a nice semi-custom; probably would be a good driver; definitely not an R3. Trying to get any extra value for the bling will depend upon the buyer sharing the same taste.

I am not going to buy it. . .but I thought it would be a good conversation starter as I admit that I didnt even know of a 62 with a R3. . .

Not from the Studebaker factory ('62 w/ R3).

A fancy AIR CLEANER does not a Supercharger make!

It would be a pretty nice Custom for 8 or $10,000.00 mainly because it is a 4 Speed, otherwise less.

That's simply a Holley dual air cleaner...easily available. It's nothing special but does look nice under the hood.
