Some Stude-lover obviously spent some time and money on that at one point.

Seems to be a motorhome conversion of some sort, leaving you with two options (actually three).

      1) Fix it up as a motorhome.

      2) Return it to a school bus configuration.

      3) Don't buy it.

Well, then there is the forth option I guess, which is to scrap it...

          poor bus...

I have having a hell of a time trying to find it, but I am CERTAIN that we have seen this bus here before. I don't remember it being in PA, though. From what I do remember it was basically free when we last saw it, and those eBay pictures were in the thread about it. Am I crazy? Indeed, but I do see lots of good stuff on that bus. And way more rust then I already have on mine. One other key feature is that this bus has a Wayne body, which makes for a bit more headroom inside.
But I like the looks of my Superior, thanks.

It needs more pictures to get most people to actually bid. Of course, that could be a good thing for someone who wants it bad enough to investigate further.

Looks like the listing was approached with the type of enthusiasm the average 14-year-old gives to the task of carrying out the garbage. Too bad...the vehicle deserves much better.

Nelly is far from 'perfect'. There's rust here and there down both sides. There's rust on the bottoms of both halves of the folding door. There's rust along the bottom edge of the back door. There's rust all over the back panel. There's also a bunch of 'standard' Stude rust on the hood and right front fender...

None of it is nearly as bad as the topic bus though...
I'll be watching the sale either way.
                  I could use some parts.

Has anyone found that old thread yet?
I have given up on our sucky search function...

There is another possibility. How about a car hauler? You could tow your favorite Stude, or better yet make the back of the bus into a door hinged at the top or maybe even open like a clam, and drive that Stude right in. I mean if you're dreaming you might as well dream big right?

Probably the one mentioned here: http://forum.studebakerdriversclub.c...ighlight=nelly

But the photos have obviously disappeared from the C/L links, so there is no way to confirm that was the same bus for sale.

I sold that bus a few years ago -

I sold it to John Wherry. Sad to say, he passed away. Here's a link to some pictures I have here at home. Also a link to some videos. These were taken about 4 years ago. I shipped the hydrovac to him before the bus was shipped. He was going to have it rebuilt. I believe he fell ill the next year and I don't know if the brake system was addressed. I did drive it around our park using the emergency brake. (scary!).
Please excuse some of the videos are sideways or upside down.

If you mean the ones mentioned in posts 23 and 28- there is a way to confirm. I printed the ads!!!
And then I recapped the stories in post #29.
                          I can't believe I stumped Craig!!!

I see some pretty neat stuff there!!!

I just noticed that there are more (and new) pictures posted in the ad.

And now I need to correct myself as well~ the body on this bus is a Thomas, not a Wayne.

                            You goin' after it Bob?
