  • A big "Thank You"

    Just wanted to say "thanks" to everyone here who answered (sometimes dumb) questions and provided guidance and advice during my front-end rebuild. At around 7PM yesterday I pulled the jackstands and chocks and put her back on all fours

    My wife is pleased, Code Enforcement will be mollified, and - best of all - it's all holding together! I still have to install the shocks and sway bar, but the hard part's done

    With no engine and the small skins, she looks like a gasser right now

    Leave the sway bar in the trunk for the time being. that *IS* the hard part

    edit: your car is a six, yes? if you can find a sway bar from a late V-8 with the frame mounts, it is a) easier to install (only two of those PITA clamps to the control arms) and b) more effective. just a thought.
