  • 1953-1957 vs. 1958-1964 C/K Gas Tank Difference?

Can anyone tell me how the '53-'57 gas tanks differ from the '58-'64 tanks?

    Thanks,
    Nick

I think the early C & K tanks had a drain plug, the later Hawk tanks didn't.

Some C/K tanks have the fuel pickup tube integral with the sending unit. More commonly, the tube and outlet are built into tank at bottom front.

Wait a minute, you can't put a '54 Sedan Tank with SIDE FILL in a '59 Lark Sedan with a right side REAR Fill, unless you turn it sideways and that is not going to happen.
Was it maybe '59 Lark Station Wagon?
