  • My 55 Champion 2dr.sedan has been sold.

I have sold another Studebaker through the forum . a few months ago I spoke with Ed Capozzi "aka" SN-60. and He brought to my attention,Brian Greenall "aka" packardHawk58 who struck a deal with Me and bought my 64 Super Hawk. Brian in turn found a buyer for my 55 Champion survivor,Matt Pettigrew "aka" Aussie Hawk. I know these cars will be in good hands, and will continue to survive.and just want to thank all parties involved in this adventure.I had 4 Studebakers and am now downsized to 2 Studebakers. a 63 Champ that I use as a truck should be,and a 63 Avanti R1 4 speed "that started this mess in the first place" many years ago

Did you have any pics of this car? Glad it went to a good home. If it stayed stateside it would likely gotten small blocked. Which just isn't good enough for a real surviver.

Yes I was the mystery guy who's bought your '55 Champion ;-) I have 15 year old twin boys, who will be looking for cars when they get their driving licenses when they turn 17. I had a '59 Lark 2 door hard top for one, and the other was going to be driving a '66 Valiant ute, but when I heard about your '55 Champion was for sale I thought I can't have one of my sons with a brand X for a 1st car.

      Cheers
      Matt

Matt, will you have to convert to RHD? What is the current ruling on LHD cars coming to Australia?
              Jim
I was STUDEBAKER, when STUDEBAKER wasn't "KOOL".

If they are older than 30 years here in Australia, You can drive any vehicle as a lhd.
