63' Chestnut interior: Looking for seatbelts ??

    Unless they have improved them, the problems with the appearance of those repros are: 1)The gold adhesive emblem is simply stuck to a smooth buckle, instead of sitting in a recessed area;and,2)The original straps were a courser weave, and the repros smoother.

    If you can at least find original buckles, and buy repro'ed emblems, the look would be more authentic.

    BTW, the belts on ebay are not even a repro since Studebaker never used that decal on belts.

    When I did my Chestnut '63 Cruiser I got new brown belts and they looked fine.
