  • Studebaker content in National Archives

For those who like history, I found that the US National Archives has things like motion pictures from about 1925 showing the casting of engine blocks, assembly of a car and body. The films were produced by Studebaker or at least had Studebaker as a contributor. There is also a silent film of drop tests of weasels.

The archives also has recordings of phone conversations involving Pres. Johnson about Studebaker.

Everything I found is in the archives location in College Park in Maryland. As usual, the interesting stuff is over 1000 miles away.

It might give you a good reason to take your Studebaker out for a drive, JDP.
