                A similar letter to that effect (without a header and a signature) appeared as a magazine ad after March, 1966, reassuring buyers they could still obtain parts and service for their cars.

                            Did these "service dealers", in fact, ever exist? I don't recall any Studebaker dealers post-1966 in my area. Or were they designated service garages under other names that were authorized to perform warranty work for Studebakers?
