    Wow......wow.......WOW!

But if they get those prices, more power to them.

The Speedster seller is asking $77K, and says he has invested $45K. Pretty good profit there if he gets it.

"The Land of Fruits and Nuts"...although many dispute the title...occasionally, things like this pop up to confirm it has merit.

I may be wrong, but #1 and #3 look to be the same car. They are all smoking crack.

It's very simple...all but "maybe" the last car, the owners just had a stutter with the zeros on the keyboard...!
Makes me feel a LOT better about the money I spent on my latest Conestoga..!?

That could be, tho one listing is in SF and the other in LA, but at that price he needs to reach as many suckers, er...buyers as possible.

I've seen this sort of "infectious" crazy pricing on eBay...someone sees a car like theirs at an insane price and lists theirs too hoping to catch the coattails.

And another (I think?) crawled out of the woodwork:

Gee whiz, these guys surely have some chips on their shoulders this morning. How are they going to sell a car with those attitudes? Anyone with any car 'cents' wouldn't waste their time trying to deal with these attitudes. "Bring me the $$$ or don't bother me!!".

The same thing is happening here. I see descriptions on the adverts saying "only contact me if you're serious about buying." It's like, only walk into this store if you're serious about buying something. I don't know if I'm interested until I look at it, dude!

This one that Packard8 found is a beautiful fully LOADED Commander 4 Dr. ADVERTIZED as a Champion!

If it is as nice as it looks with bad pics it could be a $8000.00 to $10,000.00 4 Door a near record, but of course his asking price of $48,000.00 is a joke.

There is definitely something weird going on here most of them are advertised all the same as '55 Champion Deluxes!
WHERE are they getting this stuff? This one is a President V8 State Long Wheelbase Sedan for gosh sakes, none of the sellers can READ?

Sounds like someone I wouldn't want to deal with. A$$hole alert!

It makes me wonder if there's a way to tell these people about their attitudes, or if they're just too into the I hate the world to listen to any voice.

Avanti guys are just as bad. Was going to look at one the other day with an asking price of $23,500. I told the guy that it was worth $18,500 to $20,000 by the pics. He said not to come if I didn't bring my check book and be ready to write a check. I didn't show up and he called me back and called me all kinds of A-hole for not coming to look at it.

Sumptin real fishy here. The "Champion" in SF morphs into a "Commander" in Wyoming and the price drops by $43,000 ??? I suspect the SF car is in reality just a digital photo on a hard drive in Nigeria, waiting for a Western Union deposit. You'll notice that the WY pix show a WY front licence plate that is blocked out in the CA pix.

Re attitude, none of these guys are graduates of the the Dale Carnegie Business School...

I'll take the Wyoming car and save $43K. Looks like a nice car and the seller in Wyoming is smart enough to know about the International going on in Colorado. I'll wager all the SF ads in post 1 & 6 are the same guy. Notice lack of capitalization when beginning sentences. Also in the heading he doesn't capitalize Studebaker. Now how many real Stude collectors would do that? Also he wrote 55' instead of '55 for the model year. English is not his first language. My guess? ...a scam using photos and descriptions found on the internet.
