63 Avanti Bendix brake disks- any sources less than $200.00 each??

The restoration is nearly finished but the Front brake disks are warped
and can't be turned. SI has them in the catalog but anyone found substitions
for lower price?

I've got a couple of used ones that could be had reasonable.

There is only one source for them so the price is the same, give or take a nickel at all Studebaker Vendors at: studebakervendors.com. If you have good Hubs and can swage in new studs to a New Rotor I have some without Hubs, with new Studs for only $100.00 each.

Thank you all for the replies. I have used many "used Parts" but not on any brake need. I was hoping
since the Bendix brakes were used on other cars that new ones could under the $400 plus shipping.
Guess I'll bite the bullet and order from SI.

Just for the record, the Stude disc brakes were really a Bendix modification of a Dunlop system developed for the first series Jaguar XKE, and were used on no other American car. The rotors have always been expensive. I recall paying $200 apiece for new ones 30 years ago.

IIRC, Avanti magazine had an article a couple of issues ago with cross reference part numbers.
