Spent all day today (really only about an hour or two, the rest of the time was spent drinking coffee and shootin' the sh*t) fabricating and installing one inside quarter panel in Leo the '55 Pres. HT. So far no sewing is involved, just plastic, red and white vinyl, 3M Super Spray adhesive and sissors. Looks pretty good for someone that doesn't know how to do anything except drink coffee and shoot the sh*t (or so I've been told).<G> I made all my inside side panels with ABS plastic, the same stuff the aftermarket air conditioning units are made of. I shouldn't have any trouble with this stuff warping if it gets a little wet unlike upholsterer's blackboard or the lauan board that a lot of the streetrodder upholstery guys use. I had Robert straighten and polish all 5 stainless trim pieces. I have had a dozen C's and this is my first K. Putting a K together is a lot harder than a C, but I think it'll be worth the extra effort.
