  • Studebaker meet switched

I hear that the Studebaker meet that was supposed to be in Gettysburg has been switched to Lancaster P.A. What happened I thought it was voted and approved.

    Studebakers forever!

Yes, Lancaster was voted on and approved more than a year ago. Don't know where you heard the Gettysburg rumor.
Gettysburg was the original plan. They changed to Lancaster later on (bad move IMHO).

            Paul,
You quoted Art 49 minutes before he posted. Isn't technology wonderful?

Yes, Gettysburg was the first choice and Lancaster was second.

Once you decide where to have the Meet, you need to negotiate rates for facilities. The lowest rates negotiable at Gettysburg would have incurred almost twice the expense to our members and our club. Gettysburg didn't want us bad enough.

Lancaster is going to be OUTSTANDING!!!
